    ECSU Department: Business Administration

    Position: Assistant Professor – Management, Tenure Track

    Position Description: The new hire will be expected to teach upper level courses on either entrepreneurship and/or business ethics as well as lower level courses in general management at the undergraduate level. There is also the potential to teach in the graduate program in organizational management. Teaching excellence is the primary focus for the position, followed by a strong research record/potential, and service to the department, university, and community.

    Qualifications: A terminal degree (PHD, DBA) in the field of management from an accredited institution is required. ABD candidates close to completion will also be considered. Candidates who have primary experience or expertise (teaching, research, or practice) in entrepreneurship are preferred. Candidates with secondary areas of interest in teaching business ethics or strategy will also be considered. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching, scholarly and professional activities, and a willingness to be active in service to the university and community.
