Dear Colleagues,
We've all seen them on the covers of popular press books, heard them on a TED Talk or podcast, maybe even used them to coach students in our business planning courses - sayings like "Pivot!" "Fail fast!" "Embrace ambiguity!" "Talk less, do more!" "Move fast and break stuff!"
In preparation for teaching next spring, I'm compiling a list of phrases such as these and would appreciate any that come to your mind:
What are common or cliché advice phrases that you believe we should STOP giving our business students, that you are TIRED of hearing in our hallways and lecture halls, and/or that you believe are particularly HELPFUL (in the fields of entrepreneurship, strategy, management, etc.)? To submit phrases, please visit the following survey form (it should take no more than a minute or two):
Another Cliché Survey.
My sincere thanks in advance for your consideration and contribution!
