    Hello Everyone (apologies for cross-posting),

The Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford is recruiting Senior Research Fellow positions in Major Programme Management! This is a tenure-track position where the candidate can be recognized at the level of Associate or Full Professor. We welcome all methodological (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed) and theoretical perspectives aimed at tackling the large-scale initiatives that typify major programmes. Salary for these positions are internationally competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

The Major Programme Management (MPM) group (part of the Technology and Operations, Programme Management, and Organisation Studies area) is at the frontlines of our world's grandest challenges. Whether climate change, pandemics, or technological transformation ranging from additive manufacturing to artificial intelligence, we work in contexts that entail effective design and operation of complex projects that must cater to a diverse set of stakeholders and whose inputs, timelines, and outputs are all uncertain. Given the transdisciplinary nature of this phenomena, we actively publish research across leading journals in the natural, engineering, project management, operations, and organizational sciences, and we work closely with other areas within the school, for instance Finance and Strategy.

Applicants must hold a doctorate in management studies, operations management, project management, engineering, or a closely related discipline. Commensurate with career stage, candidates must also demonstrate a strong global recognized track record of publications in top-ranked peer-reviewed academic journals and competitively award research grants that demonstrate potential to impact business and management practice. The successful applicant must demonstrate commitment to teaching and ability to enthuse, educate and inspire high-achieving graduate and executive students from all backgrounds and to help them reach their full potential. They must also demonstrate ability and willingness to work effectively as part of a team and to contribute fully to the work of the School. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary for undertaking teaching and the pastoral care of students and demonstrate ability and willingness to undertake a range of administrative duties within the School.
Come join our MPM team of Daniel Armanios, Rehema Msulwa, Paul Chapman OBE, Harvey Maylor, and Alexander Budzier, as well as our broader TOPOS area faculty of Michael Smets, Sally Maitlis, Marya Besharov, Benn Lawson, Matthias Holweg, Juliane Reinecke, Ivona Hideg, Federica De Stefano, Steve New, Richard Cuthbertson, Eero Vaara, Marc Thompson, Michael Gill, Agni Orfanoudaki, Jonathan Trevor, Bettina Wittneben, and Athol Williams.

We look forward to receiving your application!

    Daniel
