    Three new AOM PDWs on Neuroscience methods 




    Neuroscience methods are becoming increasingly popular in organizational and social sciences research. Are you a researcher, PhD student, or professional eager to dive deeper into the fascinating world of neuroscience to accelerate and expand your research program? 


    Following last year's very popular PDWs on neuroscience methods, we are excited to announce three new PDWs on neuroscience methods! Seats are limited and will be mostly on a first-come, first-served basis. The PDWs are organized by the NEU AOM Interest Group (join the group for more exciting learning and networking opportunities!). 


    Priority will be given to NEU Interest Group members. 


    PDW 1: Barin imaging using Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) 

    PDW 2: Heart Rate Variability (including wearables)  

    PDW 3: Eye-Tracking 


    Please note that these are three separate PDWs, and you will need to register for each of them individually. Each PDW is approximately 3 hours long. We have scheduled the sessions to ensure there is no overlap between them.

    What to expect: 

    These courses are well-suited for researchers new to these methods who want to learn how to design their studies, understand what kinds of questions can be answered, and even get a first taste of data analysis. More experienced users are also welcome to join and discuss more complex issues. We are open to participants at any level, but it is important that you have an honest intention to engage with these methods. Understanding basic experimental principles would be useful. 


    Our instructors are highly experienced neuroscientists who have collectively published numerous neuroscience and methods experiments in prestigious journals (Organizational Research Methods, JPSP, Journal of Neuroscience, Nature Neuroscience, NeuroImage, etc.). Additionally, our instructors are working in business schools and can discuss the organizational and managerial aspects of neuroscience research.
