Dear colleagues,
We are happy to announce that the European Academic Coworking Network (EACN) has officially launched as part of the EU-funded "Cowork4EU" project, led by the Technical University of Dortmund, Seeburg Castle Private University, Prague University of Economics and Business, and Paris School of Business. This groundbreaking initiative is designed to unite academic shared workspaces and coworking spaces across universities in Europe and beyond, fostering collaboration and innovation through sharing workspace, desks, and ideas!
Through its digital platform, the EACN allows students, researchers, and other university members to easily book and utilize free workspaces at EACN member institutions. This not only provides the opportunity to explore different university workspaces while travelling but also encourages vibrant networking opportunities among students, researchers, and local start-up and innovation ecosystems. Best of all, the EACN is completely free to use for all participants.
The network has already attracted numerous coworking spaces and student users from across Europe, with the first bookings successfully underway. It's an exciting start for this pan-European collaboration!
Does your university have a coworking space? We'd love to have you join the EACN community! Visit us at eacn.network or reach out via email at admin@eacn.network to get started.
