Samford University's Brock School of Business invites individuals interested in serving in a Christian university environment to apply for an Assistant Professor faculty position within the Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing Department. This tenure-track faculty position is a nine-month appointment that will begin in August 2025.
Applicants for this position must exhibit strong teaching skills and be committed to maintaining an ongoing research effort. The normal teaching load for faculty is 3 courses per semester, and research is required, although research expectations are reasonable and commensurate with the teaching load. Summer teaching and competitive research grants are also available. A commitment to academic excellence and the ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, students and colleagues is expected. Qualified candidates will hold an earned Doctorate in Management or other closely related field. ABDs near completion will be considered and if hired without terminal degree rank will be as Instructor until terminal degree completed. While open to all Management disciplines, preference will be given to candidates with a Strategy / Entrepreneurship background.
