Dear colleagues,
Utrecht University School of Economics is offering a fully-funded PhD position on "the Future of Work and Organizational Creativity", available for enthusiastic candidates with a strong academic profile or ambition. This is a full-time position with a duration of four years, starting in January 2025 (earlier or later starting data is possible). Your work is intended to take a central position between the strategical pillars of Utrecht University: Human-centered-artificial-intelligence, the Future-of-Work and the Institution-for-Open-Societies.
As a PhD researcher, you will investigate how the creative work processes unfold in practice, as well as how technologies such as generative artificial intelligence can augment creativity or restrict it. You will be part of a dynamic and international research community that supports you in developing your academic skills and preparing for a successful career in academia or beyond.
The ideal candidate will have a (research) master's degree in business economics, management, governance or a related field, a talent for qualitative and quantitative research in social sciences (e.g., econometrics, surveys, (field) experiments, web-scraping, interviews). You should have excellent analytical and communication skills as well as a desire to work independently with autonomy and as part of our majestic interdisciplinary team: Mathias Boënne, Shirley Jin, Julia Penning De Vries, and Samuele Murtinu.
Please share among your network. For more information about the position and how to apply, visit the Utrecht University website, or contact Mathias Boënne (m.j.boenne@uu.nl). Deadline 14th of September, 2024.
