Dear Colleagues,
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation is supporting ONE division and its members by sponsoring 2 awards for papers at the intersection of entrepreneurship and sustainability.
- Best Paper Award on Sustainability and Entrepreneurship
- Best Early Career Scholar Paper on Sustainability and Entrepreneurship (paper published by a PhD student as a first author within 5 years after graduation)
The paper chosen must have been published within the last two years from the time of the award. A paper can only be nominated for just one of the two awards.
At least one author will need to be ONE division member. The specific criteria for evaluation are attached.
The submission cycle will begin in March of the year, and the winner will be announced at the ONE Business Meeting at the Academy of Management conference in July.
To nominate an article, submit the original article, along with a letter of nomination, which should include:
1. Full citation and author's contact information
2. Description of the paper's key contributions (theoretical and empirical) (max 150 words)
3. Potential implications for practice (max 150 words)
The paper and the letter of nomination must be sent to Garima Sharma (gsharma@american.edu) and Simone Carmine (s.carmine@ieseg.fr).
The deadline for submission is May 9, 2025
Two finalists and a winner will be selected by an award committee comprising ONE division leader, senior scholars, and prior winners.
The winner will receive $500 in cash and a plaque, totaling an amount of $1000.
