    MIGRATION & ORGANIZATIONS CONFERENCE

    Hosted by Columbia Business School

    May 27-28, 2025

    Call For Papers

    (Submit by February 14, 2025)

Now in its eighth iteration, this gathering seeks to advance rigorous research and strengthen the community of scholars at the intersection of migration and organizations. We invite papers linking migration to topics such as:

    ● Organizational performance

    ● Employee mobility

    ● Management of people and teams

    ● Diversity & inclusion in organizations

    ● Firm capabilities

    ● Entrepreneurship

    ● Corporate strategy

    ● Innovation

    ● Global strategy

    ● Firm location choice

    ● Work practices

    ● Teams

Any other topic at the intersection of migration and organizations is appropriate. However, this conference is NOT for research focused exclusively on policy or other issues in which the role of the organization or firm is not apparent. Scholars from all fields, disciplines, and career stages are encouraged to submit.

Please click here to upload your paper submission by February 14, 2025. Accepted presenters will be notified by early March 2023 and should be available to present in person

If you would like to attend the conference without submitting a paper, you indicate your interest via the same link as above. We will prioritize slots for presenters but may have space for non-presenters.

PhD Consortium: There will be a half-day consortium focused on career development for PhD students on May 27, 2025. We will hold small group mentoring meetings with faculty and early research development workshops. Please apply to the consortium here by February 14, 2025. If you also submitted a paper for the conference, you are still eligible to take part in the PhD consortium.
