We are pleased to announce the third London Text Analysis Conference, which will be held at the Institute of Management Studies, Goldsmiths, University of London on 12 – 13 September 2024.
Digital text analysis methods have entered the management and organisational research domain and are rapidly increasing in popularity (Antons et al., 2023; Aranda et al., 2021; Giordano et al., 2024; Hain et al., 2022; Hannigan et al., 2019; Kobayashi et al., 2017; Yeomans, 2021). The conference is aimed at social science researchers working on problems related to management & organisation, economics, information systems, psychology, sociology, politics & other social scientists interested in computerised approaches to analysing text, including but not limited to topic modeling, word embeddings, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, transformers, LLMs and related methods. This two-day conference will include a professional development workshop (Day 1) and research paper presentations (Day 2).
Our long-term goal is to develop a thriving community of researchers interested in digital text analysis methods.
