For those of you attending the SMS Annual Meeting in Istanbul this weekend, please feel free to join an exciting discussion and coffee break at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center. In this session, we will discuss future higher education learning environments. After a brief introduction to the opportunities in higher education innovation and an overview of how this is unfolding in the NEOM mega-project, we will have table discussions and brainstorming on topics related to the future of higher education. Some topics to be discussed include physical and virtual learning environments, skills development, individualized learning, and maintaining research productivity amid these changes. After a short debrief, all participants are invited for the coffee break, followed by individual meetings with the presenters if desired.
