Dear Colleagues,
The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center is pleased to invite you to the California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference (CEEC) 2025, taking place April 23–26, 2025, at San Diego State University.
This year's conference will bring together a dyn amic community of entrepreneurship educators and scholars to exchange ideas, share impactful research, and explore innovative teaching methods. We are excited to offer engaging sessions, meaningful collaborations, and actionable insights that will enhance both research and pedagogy.
A key feature of CEEC 2025 is our collaboration with EIX (Entrepreneur & Innovation Exchange), a premier peer-reviewed platform for applied entrepreneurship research with over 15 million annual page views. EIX will host a special session on integrating the latest research into entrepreneurship teaching, helping educators apply key insights from cutting-edge studies to their courses. We are pleased to confirm that Dr. Erin Scott (MIT) and Dr. Daniel Forbes (University of Minnesota) will be speaking at this session, offering their expertise on entrepreneurship research and its relevance to teaching.
We are also honored to welcome Dr. Dan Wadhwani, the Jill Brooks-Garnett Teaching Chair in Entrepreneurship at USC's Marshall School of Business, as our keynote speaker. Dr. Wadhwani's research explores how entrepreneurial activities shape and influence socio-economic transformation. His keynote will provide thought-provoking perspectives for educators and researchers.
At the heart of CEEC 2025 is our engaged community of educators and scholars. The conference will feature a range of pedagogy and research sessions designed to advance entrepreneurship education and scholarship. Discussions will highlight emerging insights from entrepreneurship research, novel pedagogical approaches, and ways to strengthen the connection between academic inquiry and real-world impact.
The deadline for roundtable proposal submissions is February 28, 2025. Additional details are available on the conference website: https://lavincenter.sdsu.edu/ceec
