Dear Colleagues
We are pleased to announce a call for papers for a special issue in Entrepreneurship & Regional Development titled "Internationalisation as an Entrepreneurial Process: Boundary Spanning for Regional Growth Across Diverse Contexts." This issue explores the significant role of international entrepreneurship (IE) in fostering regional development and economic resilience, especially within today's dynamic global landscape.
This special issue seeks empirical, theoretical, and conceptual papers that delve into how entrepreneurial firms leverage international opportunities to foster growth, resilience, and collaboration across regions. - Business model innovation and digital platform strategies in international entrepreneurship
- Regional impacts of SMEs' internationalisation efforts
- Roles of family firms, cooperatives, and born-digital firms in international expansion
- Comparative analyses of internationalisation business models
- Cross-border networks, cultural adaptation, and resource constraints in IE
