Dear Colleagues,
The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center at San Diego State University is delighted to invite you to submit your papers to the 10th California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference (CEEC), which will convene in San Diego, California from April 17 to 20, 2024.
We welcome papers from a broad range of entrepreneurship research topics. These encompass, but are not limited to, the intricacies of the new venture creation process, the dynamics of venture financing, the exploration of various entrepreneur characteristics such as passion, resilience, and cognition, investigations into entrepreneurial networks, and insightful examinations of entrepreneurial ecosystems, among others.
In line with the conference theme 'Empower' and to cultivate a close-knit community of scholars and educators with shared interests, we have also created two special sub-theme topics:
1. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Entrepreneurship
2. International Entrepreneurship
For those of you focusing on pedagogy, we encourage papers that embrace diverse research designs and assessments, including pre- and post-tests, to gauge and assess tools and frameworks aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial competencies and actions.
The submission system is now open. Should you wish to join us in beautiful San Diego, kindly submit your 750-word extended abstract by October 20, 2023. Each author may submit a maximum of two papers. Each submission must contain the following four sections:
Introduction (maximum 200 words)
Theoretical Background (maximum 200 words)
Methods and Data (maximum 200 words)
Theoretical and Practical Contributions (maximum 200 words)
