We invite you to contribute to an exciting new casebook, Cases on High Growth Entrepreneurship: Scaling Up for Success, co-edited by Simon Raby (Mount Royal University) and Oleksiy Osiyevskyy (University of Calgary). This casebook aims to serve as a definitive resource for students, instructors, executives, and business leaders, offering practical and theoretical insights into the complexities of scaling organizations.

We are seeking high-quality teaching cases that reflect real-world scenarios on scaling up, focusing on actionable growth strategies.

    Why contribute?

    1. Broaden your impact: Your case will help shape the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs, providing students with real-world scenarios to apply their knowledge.
    2. Enhance your academic profile: Being part of this casebook will position you as a thought leader in the field of high-growth entrepreneurship and scaling. Published by Edward Elgar Publishing, this casebook will be widely used in classrooms and executive programs.
    3. Influence practice: This is an opportunity to influence how business leaders think about scaling their ventures, providing them with tangible, research-backed strategies to navigate growth challenges.
    4. Collaborate with peers: Join a global community of academics contributing to this essential topic, fostering networking and potential future collaborations.

We invite you to submit an extended abstract (approximately 800 words) that introduces the company featured in your case and highlights its alignment with one or more of the Seven Scaling Strategies as detailed in the attached Call for Cases (also available online). Detailed submission guidelines and the timeline for this project are included in this document.

The submission deadline for the extended abstract is March 7, 2025, and we look forward to receiving your proposal. If you have any questions or wish to discuss potential contributions, please feel free to reach out to us directly at sraby@mtroyal.ca or oosiyevs@ucalgary.ca.

Thank you for considering this opportunity. we hope you will join us in contributing to this valuable resource that will not only enhance learning but also provide actionable insights for scaling success.

    Best regards,

    Simon and Oleks
