The Department of Management at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) seeks a tenure-track faculty member in Management at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will build curriculum/teach courses on innovation management, technology management, and digital transformation, as well as within their disciplinary area in management. They will conduct research in the management of innovation in the digital age. This includes (but is not limited to) such topics as the future of work, innovation processes, technological change, technology strategy and the impact of emerging technologies on organizational work and structures. The candidate will likely explore how advancements such as artificial intelligence, automation, remote work, and the "gig economy" are reshaping organizations, industries, and societies, including the ethical implications of these transformations. The position is open to scholars with either a micro (organizational behavior, human resources) or macro (organization theory, strategy) orientation, or those who integrate these perspectives. The successful candidate will help the Department achieve equitable academic outcomes for all students through teaching, student mentorship, scholarship, and service.
