    The School of Marketing and Innovation at the Muma College of Business, University of South Florida,  invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant level. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or a related business discipline from an AACSB (or international equivalent) accredited University. 

    Applications are welcomed from all areas focusing on entrepreneurship research and teaching. Ideal candidates will target and publish in high quality journals (AMJ, AMR, SMJ, ASQ, OrgSc, RP, JBV, ETP, SEJ, etc.) and demonstrate excellence in teaching. This position will be housed within the new Nault Center of Entrepreneurship.

     Founded in 2002, the center's master's degree program is ranked by The Princeton Review as No. 1 in the South and No. 5 nationally for all public universities. More than 1,000 center alumni have opened approximately 300 businesses in just the past decade. Recently, the center received $10 million gift from alumnus James "Jay" Nault to rename the center as "Nault Center for Entrepreneurship". The gift will expand pitch competitions for the center as well as innovative new educational opportunities that include creating a new living learning community, expanding the center's mentoring program, building more "shark tank"-like competitions, and supporting potential new degree options for executives.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.

    Primary Considerations:

    1. A PhD in Business with specialization in strategy from an AACSB (or international equivalent) accredited institution or a PhD in other related disciplines.
    2. Evidence of ability to publish in top-level journals in strategy, entrepreneurship and Innovation. 
    3. Evidence of superior teaching ability.
    4. Overall quality of the candidate as indicated by letters of reference and personal contacts.

    Other Considerations:

    1. Evidence of ability to make service contributions to the university and the profession.
    2. Reputation of program granting the candidate's terminal degree.
    3. Background in strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation.
    4. Interest in applying for externally funded research

    The School of Marketing and Innovation offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in marketing, entrepreneurship, sports management and supply chain management including an MS/entrepreneurship, MS/marketing, MS/sport entertainment management, MS/supply chain management and Ph.D program with a concentration in marketing.  Faculty members also teach in the MBA, Executive MBA, and DBA programs.
