    About the speakers:

Davide Ravasi is Professor at and Director of University College London, School of Management in the UK. Davide's research primarily examines interrelations among organizational identity, culture, and strategy in times of change. He has used several cases of - successful and less successful -organizational change to examine how claims and beliefs about "who we are" or "who we want to be" influence how change is embraced (or rejected) by the organization, and how history, memory and culture affect the process.

Mohammed Bendaanane is a PhD Candidate in Entrepreneurship at TUM School of Management in Munich, Germany, part of the Entrepreneurship Research Institute and the Chair of Corporate Sustainability. His primary research interest centers on entrepreneurship as a tool to address social and environmental issues, particularly studying sustainable energy ventures in Kenya. In a second stream of research, he also studies entrepreneurship in institutionally challenging contexts, specifically in contexts of poverty and necessity.

Karla Luna Corres is PhD Candidate at the University of Massachusetts-Boston as part of Organizations and Social Change program. She has worked in central California doing work around community organizing, public policy, and affordable housing. Her current research and goal are to become an expert in socially driven organizations operating in the context of housing in the U.S. and Mexico. Currently, she is a Fulbright Researcher doing her data collection in collaboration with a Mexican social organization focused on providing housing in Mexico.
