The Center for L.I.F.E. (Leading the Integration of Faith and Entrepreneurship) at Miami University is pleased to announce the 4th Ph.D. Seminar on Religion and Entrepreneurship to be held during Academy of Management (AOM) Meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are now accepting applications for the seminar.
The Center L.I.F.E. seeks to create world-class knowledge at the intersection of faith and entrepreneurship by cultivating pathways to publish excellent research in top-tier journals. As we approach the 5th L.I.F.E. Research Conference which has attracted 1,000+ scholars from 30+ countries since inception, we are excited to present, for the 4th time, a one-day seminar for doctoral candidates that will center on the theoretical, methodological, and topical opportunities that exist for research at this intersection.
This year's speakers include: Saulo Dubard Barbosa, Allan Discua Cruz, Miruna Radu-Lefebrve, David Townsend, and Brett Smith. Past students include: Joel Adams, Becca Arwine, Sean Dwyer, Kylie Heales, Amanda Lawson, Jose Cerecedo Lopez, Trevor Israelsen, David Park, Ashley Roccapiore, among others and have already published their research on faith and entrepreneurship in leading management and entrepreneurship journals, including Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Venturing, and Small Business Economics, among others.
The seminar will run from 8 am to 4 pm on one day between July 25-27, 2025. The seminar has been accepted into the AOM program but we are still awaiting the specific date. For now, you can apply for the Ph.D. seminar by filling out the application form.
