    Responsibilities: The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business (LSB) invites applications for a tenure-track position (Assistant/Associate Professor) to teach Entrepreneurship/Strategy starting fall 2020. We seek candidates who are effective teachers, scholars, and mentors to teach a mix of entrepreneurship (2/3) and strategic management (1/3) courses in the LSB's undergraduate and master's programs. Successful applicants will also possess the ability and desire to teach in Elon's core curriculum. Our preference is for candidates with an earned doctorate in business administration (entrepreneurship and/or strategic management) from an AACSB-accredited university by the time of employment. We value individuals who have previous  experience either in an organization or as an entrepreneur. We also value prior experience as a faculty member teaching Entrepreneurship/Strategy courses.

    About the School: The AACSB-accredited Martha and Spencer Love School of Business has emerged from a time of dramatic growth to become a leader in business education. Our faculty are both dynamic teachers who promote engaged learning and leading scholars who publish their work in top journals. To support our teacher/scholar mission, we provide extensive teaching and research development programs, including a pre-tenure sabbatical, summer and academic year research grants, course releases, and teaching workshops. The LSB is housed in the Koury Business Center and Sankey Hall, which feature state-of-the-art classrooms, multiple student engagement areas, the LaRose Digital Theatre, the Chandler Family Professional Sales Center, the Reed Finance Center, the Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, the Center for Organizational Analytics, and the Porter Family Professional Development Center.  We offer graduate classes on the Elon campus and in the fast-growing Research Triangle Park (RTP) area. In 2018, Poets and Quants ranked the school's undergraduate program #50 in the nation and, in 2016, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the part-time MBA program #1 in the state and #17 in the nation.
