    Dear Everyone, 

    De Montfort University and the BAM Corporate Governance SIG and are delighted to invite you to the Doctoral Conference on Strategy, Innovation, Finance, and International Business – SIIB 2021. The conference aims to help Ph.D. students to learn more about job search and publishing strategies, as well as to showcase their research. If you could please pass on the invite to your doctoral students. 

    When: 24th March 2021 (9am-5pm GMT) – Virtual. 

    Application Deadline: 19th February 2021 

    Who should apply: We welcome submissions from Ph.D. (or other doctoral-level) students of any stage. 

    Description: The conference will consist of two panels – on 'The Job Market' and on 'Publishing in Top Journals', a keynote presentation from Professor Mark Casson (University of Reading, UK), and parallel sessions, where participants will present their research. Panel speakers include Professor Peter Stokes (De Montfort University) and Professor Mathew Hughes (Loughborough University). 

    Participation in the conference is free for British Academy of Management members, and a nominal fee will apply to Non-BAM members. For students facing financial hardship, a limited number of sponsored places are available. Please contact the organisers to discuss.
