    The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Strategic Management, to begin in the Fall of 2020.

    Qualified candidates will possess a Ph.D. in Business or a closely related field, focusing on Strategic Management or an allied area.  Required qualifications also include proven research skills and a strong interest in teaching courses in Strategy, Innovation, and/or Entrepreneurship.  Candidates with anticipated Ph.D. completion by August 2020 will also be considered.  Preferred qualifications include demonstrated evidence and potential for high-impact research, teaching excellence and superb communication skills as evidenced in teaching evaluations, and the ability to work collegially and collaboratively within the university and the business community.  Highly preferred qualifications also include a research record of exceptional quality published in top peer-reviewed journals. 

    The primary responsibilities in this position will be to provide teaching excellence in the Lubar School of Business and scholarly research for publication.  Additionally, the selected candidate will contribute to the mission of the Lubar School by engaging with, mentoring, and advising students, by providing service to the area, School, and University through committee support and other shared governance activities, and by enhancing the School's strong linkages with the business community.
