Assistant / Associate Professor Tenure-Track Positions in OB and Strategy/OT

    The Pennsylvania State University

    Smeal College of Business

    Management and Organization Department

The Management and Organization Department in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) has two full-time tenure-track professor positions, one in the area of Organizational Behavior (OB) and one in the area of Strategy/Organization Theory (including Entrepreneurship and Innovation). We seek to fill both positions at either the Assistant or Associate ranks with candidates who have high-quality research records in each of these domains, and who can teach related courses. The start date for both positions is Fall 2021. Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or be in the final stages), a proven track record in conducting high-quality scholarly research, and have demonstrated a high level of teaching competence.

Job Requirements: Candidates should provide evidence of a strong research record. We expect faculty members to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate/graduate teaching, help to supervise graduate students, and engage in professional service. We have a strong preference for candidates with publications in premier journals, who are in more advanced ranks with a research program with high-impact or such potential underway, and who are able to connect with a wide array of colleagues in our department. Review of applications for both positions will begin on October 1, 2020 and will continue until the positions are filled.
