Imperial College Business School is seeking qualified applicants for multiple tenure track positions in its Department of Management.  We are particularly interested in applicants in the following areas: Strategy, OB, OT and HRM.

Part of a world-class research university, Imperial College Business School is growing very rapidly (15 new faculty hires in 2019, a 20% growth year-to-year) to strengthen its position as a center of excellence in finance, business analytics, innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability.  It has been assessed during the last REF (Research Evaluation Framework) as the top business school in the UK for the quality of its research. The Management department counts 25 faculty members, including 5 new colleagues: Christiane Bode, Celia Moore, Michelle Rogan, Tim Weiss and Maurizio Zollo.

Located in the heart of London, Imperial College Business School offers an attractive research environment, with very reasonable teaching loads and globally competitive salaries. Faculty at the Business School have access to industry experts and enjoy considerable interaction with major corporates, a vibrant entrepreneurship community, consultancy candidates, financial institutions, venture capitalists, and public sector organisations, all of which help to make our teaching and research practical and relevant.

One of the defining features of Imperial College is its culture of cross-disciplinary collaboration across the faculties of engineering, business, medicine, data science and natural sciences.  This is particularly important for potentially breakthrough research related to grand challenges like sustainability, energy, nutrition and health, where business scholars can work with leading scientists (Imperial is home to 14 Nobel Prize winners), start-ups and businesses in the innovation and experimentation of potential solutions.  The College wins about £400 million in competitive research grants (about 50% of its total revenues) every year, including £60-80 million a year in faculty-led research supported by major business corporations.

Participants at Academy of Management conference in Boston interested in an informal meeting can email one of the following members of the department's steering committee: Mark Kennedy (mark.kennedy@imperial.ac.uk), Sankalp Chaturvedi (sankalp@imperial.ac.uk), Ileana Stigliani (i.stigliani@imperial.ac.uk ), Anu Wadhwa (a.wadhwa@imperial.ac.uk) and Maurizio Zollo (m.zollo@imperial.ac.uk).

Closing date: 30 September 2019 (midnight BST).
