    Please join us for the:
International Webinar "Small Business and Entrepreneurship in Times of Crisis"
    (May 21st 2020)

In light of what is happening globally as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the IPA-Deakin SME Research Centre at the Deakin Business School and the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research at the QUT Business School, will host a webinar on small business and entrepreneurship in times of crisis, in conjunction with the International Small Business Journal and the Institute of Public Accountants. The webinar is aligned to an upcoming special issue on the same topic at the International Small Business Journal (submission date December this year). We hope the webinar will provide prospective authors with research ideas, as well as stimulate a debate on what can be done to support entrepreneurs and small businesses at this difficult time.

The panel will comprise industry experts and researchers who have published widely in the field of entrepreneurship on the topic of entrepreneurship and small business in times of crisis. Panellists will share their opinions on how small businesses might adapt their business models in response to the crisis, the strategies entrepreneurs might use to support the psychological wellbeing of themselves and their staff, the policies that governments have or might adopt to support small businesses through the crisis, the challenges small businesses have faced in moving online and digitalizing their businesses and the opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs after the crisis.

Towards the end of a webinar the audience will be given an opportunity to ask additional questions of the panellists through the chat function on the webinar.
