This is a very exciting time for Entrepreneurship at The University of Alabama and in the Culverhouse College of Business. Under the leadership of Dean Kay Palan, the College has made enhancing our academic capabilities in Entrepreneurship a strategic priority.
We are seeking colleagues to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, productive researcher with a record of successful, student-centric teaching to help us continue to build our research capability, culture, and impact. Our new colleague will join a diverse team of Entrepreneurship scholars including Craig Armstrong, Paul Drnevich, Vishal Gupta, Will Jackson, Lou Marino, Jeffrey Martin, and Theresa Welbourne. We are seeking to fill the position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank with preference given to candidates with a proven publication record appropriate to their rank. We are open to a broad range of research foci but are especially interested in those focusing on entrepreneurial behavior (macro or micro) or cognitions, HR in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial teams, and growth in entrepreneurial firms. Our Entrepreneurship program offers classes at the Doctoral, MBA, and undergraduate levels and is housed in the Management Department.Compensation and teaching load are competitive with other R1: Doctoral Universities and will vary depending on our new colleague's accomplishments, experience, and the rank at which they are hired.For more information please see the attached document.
