We would like to invite you to the following event:
REAL-TIME - OPEN: Presenters and audience on live-streamed video.
This panel is part of our Diamonds in the Rough PDW but is open to all who are registered to attend AOM. The goal of this panel is to provide junior scholars with career-related advice and job market information. Influential, senior scholars will describe how they forged their career paths and the obstacles they faced and will also share their opinions regarding the future of hiring in our field.
This year we focus on job market realities regarding job opportunities and gender/race equality in academia, especially in response to the following events:
We are very pleased to have the following influential MOC scholars as our panelists who will share their perspectives on the job market related to these issues and their own career journeys.
Who can attend?
Our workshop is open to everybody attending AOM, but senior doctoral students, post-docs, and junior faculty members may find it most helpful.
If you have any other questions, please contact the workshop organizing committee at firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope you join our conversation!
