To my esteemed colleagues in entrepreneurship education,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to  the expanded Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO)! CEO has a special place in my heart, as I cofounded CEO in 1983, with the help of Academy of Management Division pioneers. Since its inception, CEO has grown to support chapters across 250 university/college campuses, connect with a network of over 16,000 entrepreneurial members, and hosting an annual event for 1,000 attendees, including a Pitch Competition prize pool of over $15,000. This year's conference will be held in sunny Tampa, Florida, and we'd be thrilled to see you there! To view a metric breakdown of the organization for Spring Semester 2019, see CEO's Impact Survey here.

As a part of the Academy of Management, you show a level of commitment to your students' success. Your affiliation shows students on campus that they are fully supported in both their education efforts and career aspirations.

CEO works to cultivate a community of entrepreneurship, on your campus, we like to refer to as your "sandbox." This sandbox brings together likeminded students on campus into an ecosystem where failure is acceptable! Most successful entrepreneurs have their own version of their "faceplant" story, so it should be no surprise that your students will too. However, in the supportive and collaborative climate of your CEO chapter, today's failure could spark tomorrow's success.

With that being said, we invite you and your students to launch a chapter of CEO on your campus! Our chapters receive valuable resources such as infrastructure in the form of organizational guides, access to exclusive online resources such as legal document services, entrepreneurial bootcamps, exclusive career center, equity sharing new venture crowd funding, and discounted pricing to all of CEO's events throughout the year. Our role is to support you as a leading entrepreneurship educator.

If you are interested in learning more about the organization, please email CEO's Membership Coordinator, Jeffrey Russell, at jrussell@c-e-o.org. Jeff will work to schedule a time to meet with you and discuss how CEO can best serve as an integral resource within your institution's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

We look forward to welcoming you into the new, expanded CEO!

    All the best,
