    Sept. 4, 2020  - Early registration deadline

    Dear colleagues,

The NACRA executive board has voted to host the 2020 Annual Conference as an online-only event. This decision was taken after surveying our membership, investigating multiple physical and hybrid options, and negotiating with our contracted hotel. Although we are disappointed that we won't be able to meet physically in San Antonio this year, we are excited that we will be able to host a quality conference online that still provides a unique opportunity to engage with other leading case researchers in a small-group format, to receive detailed and constructive feedback about your case, and to participate in presentations from experienced case researchers, journals' editors and educators.

The online NACRA conference will include our distinctive roundtable track design, which provides an excellent professional opportunity to enhance your abilities to develop higher-quality participant-centered and discussion-based cases, that would be suitable for publication in numerous refereed journals (such as NACRA's Case Research Journal), case publishers and distributors, and textbooks.

The Social Impact & Sustainability track encourages and welcomes the submissions of teaching cases that relate to socially and environmentally responsible organizations, including but not limited to, social entrepreneurship, social business, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), non-profits organizations, impact investment, microfinance, social innovation, new legal structures, B Corps, etc. The cases can be related to any functional area (Marketing, Finance, Accounting, HR, Operations, etc) and any vertical industry. We also encourage submission from different geographical perspectives as NACRA keeps growing its international presence.

Undisguised decision-focused cases based on primary sources (interviews, field visits) are highly preferred. Although cases may be disguised, they must be based on real events and real people in real organizations. Submitted cases may have been previously taught, but must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere (journals, books, online) before the online October 2020 conference.

For more information on all tracks, sessions, and submission guidelines, please see www.nacra.net/conference.

Let me know by June 15 if you expect to submit a case (full or start-up) to our Social Impact & Sustainability track
Please be sure to add NACRA 2020 - Social Impact in the subject line

We now have almost two months till July 6th to finish up the final draft so we hope to include you and your colleagues on our track. If you want to learn what valuable feedback on your case looks like this online modality gives you a low cost/ low-risk opportunity to access a very supportive network of case writers.

We look forward to hearing from you!

    Stay safe and best wishes,
