    CLINCAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR NON-TENURE-TRACK POSITION IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP

    Hankamer School of Business

     

    The Department of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation at Baylor University invites applications for one or more non-tenure-track positions at the Clinical Assistant Professor level in Entrepreneurship within the Hankamer School of Business. Applicants with a strong interest and record of teaching excellence in entrepreneurship and innovation are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will begin employment in January or August of 2020. The positions are pending final budget approval.

     

    Candidates should possess an earned Master's or Doctorate in the appropriate field of study (or expect completion by August 2020). Candidates must have significant teaching accomplishments in entrepreneurship or an appropriate level of research productivity. Publications in peer reviewed journals in accordance with AACSB qualification as Scholarly Academic is highly desirable. An interest in strategic management as well as entrepreneurship is preferred due to potential teaching needs. Practical experience as an entrepreneur is desirable. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

     

    About the Department: Entrepreneurship has been a part of the Baylor undergraduate curriculum since 1977. Publications such as U.S. News and World Report and Princeton Review consistently recognize Baylor Entrepreneurship in their rankings of top programs. The Department of Entrepreneurship is in the new state-of-the-art Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation.     Applications will be reviewed immediately and will be accepted until the position is filled. Select candidates will be interviewed at the Academy of Management meeting in Boston, MA. Applicants are encouraged to submit their materials before July 24, 2019 so preliminary interviews can be scheduled in Boston. While preferred, a Boston interview is not a requirement to be considered for the position.
