    The Department of Management and Marketing in the College of Business at North Dakota State University (NDSU) invites applications for one tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Management position to begin in August 2020.  We will consider qualified applicants with Ph.D. in Business, Management, Economics, or related disciplines with research interests in International Entrepreneurship or International Business.  The first-year teaching load is four three-credit courses (2-2 or 1-3), and thereafter the normal teaching load is five three-credit courses per year (e.g., 2-3), with the possibility of teaching load reduction depending on research productivity.  Teaching areas will be in Entrepreneurship, International Business, and/or Strategy.   This position will be affiliated with the NDSU College of Business' Sheila and Robert Challey Institute for Global Innovation & Growth.  The successful candidate will conduct research, teaching, and service/outreach that contributes to the Department and the Challey Institute's mission, including developing research in immigrant entrepreneurship.  The position offers a competitive salary and benefit package.   

    The Department of Management and Marketing currently has 19 faculty members and offers majors in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, and Global Business, as well as minor in Business Administration, a certificate in Professional Selling, and a minor/certificate in Entrepreneurship for all students.  The MBA program is also housed in the department.  The College of Business at NDSU is fully accredited by AACSB, and is located in the Richard H. Barry Hall, the 135,000-square foot state-of-the-art facility.  The College of Business offers a variety of undergraduate programs as well as graduate programs including MBA, Master of Accountancy, and PhD in Transportation and Logistics.

    The Sheila and Robert Challey Institute for Global Innovation & Growth is an interdisciplinary institute that aims to advance understanding in the areas of innovation, trade, and institutions to identify policies and solutions that enhance economic growth and opportunity.  The Challey Institute works toward achieving its mission by engaging in research, student programming, and outreach in the areas of (1) international trade, investment, and immigration, (2) innovation and entrepreneurship, and (3) institutions and policy.
