    CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

STR Junior Faculty Teaching Consortium 2019

The Strategic Management Division will sponsor its third Junior Faculty Teaching Consortium on Friday August 9 during the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Boston.

    Application Deadline: June 30, 2019

(Please get your applications in early as we have limited seating.)

The STR Junior Faculty Teaching Consortium is intended for both teaching- and research-oriented faculty who are 0-7 years out of their PhD programs.  The objective of the consortium is to engage participants so they become more effective in the classroom and more efficient with their teaching-related activities.  Participants will have opportunities to learn from award-winning teachers, to discuss with distinguished faculty and peers in small groups particular teaching issues they may be having, to learn about available resources, to meet and interact with future colleagues, and to enhance their teaching and overall development.  The consortium will be held during the pre-conference session (full day, including lunch).

The consortium co-chairs are Kenneth Huang (National University of Singapore), Joan Allatta (Temple University) and Ithai Stern (INSEAD).

We have great speakers lined up including Professors Russell Coff (University of Wisconsin-Madison) and Gautam Ahuja (Cornell University), among others.  More detailed information will be available once the AOM Program comes online.

Interested participants should apply via the application website (below).  Sign up today!  We will do rolling admissions.  To ensure that space constraints do not affect your application, it is advisable to apply early as the number of participants is limited.
