The Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation is actively looking to fill a professor position (open rank) beginning June 1, 2020.
Requirements-candidates must:
- either have a Ph.D., or be near completion of a Ph.D. in entrepreneurship or innovation (or in a related domain as explained in their motivation letter).
- show excellent pedagogical skills, with proven interest and ability in pedagogical innovation.
- demonstrate strong research skills and a keen interest in scientific publishing. For example, members of the Department regularly publish in FT50 listed journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Human Relations, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of International Business Studies, Organization Science, etc.-in addition to publishing in French, English, Spanish or other languages ??in several other academic and practical journals and being involved in various national or international academic organizations.
- be able to demonstrate that one's research is solidly grounded in today's business challenges and practices, so as to have the potential to make a practical impact and eventually contribute to HEC's Mosaic and Banque Nationale transfer poles as well as the Montreal entrepreneurial ecosystem.
