Dear Colleagues,
Please consider sharing your innovative teaching practices with other management educators by submitting a proposal to the "Innovative Teaching and Management Education" track at Southern Management Association's (SMA's) 2019 Annual Meeting. This year we consider all submissions appropriate for this track, but are particularly seeking proposals that focus on increasing student engagement both inside and outside the classroom. A few relevant topics include (but not limited to) Teaching Management through Play, Teaching Management through Technology, and Teaching Management through Case Studies.
When and Where?
This year's SMA conference will take place October 8-12, at the Hilton Norfolk The Main, in scenic Norfolk, Virginia.
How can you get involved?
As the co-chairs for Innovative Teaching and Management Education track, we would like to invite you to submit a proposal (no longer than 2000 words) that describes an innovative teaching technique or curricular innovation. Also, we appreciate if you can sign up as a reviewer for this track. You may find additional information about the SMA's 2019 Annual meeting and how to get involved by visiting our website at: https://southernmanagement.site-ym.com/page/meetings
Should you have any question about submissions to this track, please feel free to contact us at sohrab.soleimanof@msstate.edu, or LanceFrazier@creighton.edu.
Sincerely,
Sohrab and Lance,
