This would be a position for a part-time summer research assistant helping in the revision of ancillary materials for the textbook Entrepreneurial Small Business (7th edition published by McGraw-Hill). The job would entail reviewing and updating research and professional/trade press articles in the endnotes, as well as URLs and other resources in the text. Knowledge of the entrepreneurship research literature - both historical and recent - is a major plus for the RA. Knowledge of entrepreneurship as taught in undergraduate classes will also help the RA to understand the context. This is envisioned as a part-time job, being done during the Summer 2021, coordinating with the authors via phone, Zoom, and Google Docs. The RA would be noted in the Acknowledgements of the 7th Edition. For individuals with an interest in textbook publishing, this could be a good way to learn more about the processes and structures of textbook development. Pay would be between $500-1000, depending on qualifications. The work is being done for the authors and not a university or McGraw-Hill. Doctoral students (ideally mid-program or later) and junior faculty are welcome to apply.
