    Instructor of Business Administration (non-tenure track)

    The Davis College of Business at Jacksonville University invites applications for a full-time Instructor in Business Administration to start in the Fall of 2021.  

    This 9-month position includes responsibilities in teaching, professional development, and service. Teaching responsibilities may be in Entrepreneurship/Innovation, Management, and/or Marketing, depending on the candidate's area of expertise.  Teaching expectations are up to 30 contact hours per year and may include face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online delivery. As part of course load, this position will include coordinating student internships for the Davis College of Business.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or PhD/DBA in business or management from an AACSB accredited institution or in a related field.  Candidates should have the expertise and experience, current and significant in duration and level of responsibility, qualifying them to teach business topics.  The successful candidate will be required to meet accreditation standards and participate in professional development.  Applicants must have abilities, skills and enthusiasm consistent with teaching excellence and instructional innovation.  Evidence of effective teaching or training experience is preferred.  Candidates must have the ability to interact effectively with colleagues in the department, college, campus, community, and professional organizations.
