As a member of the ENT Division and program co-chair of the TLC committee, I have the pleasure of welcoming you to the Teaching and Learning Conference at AOM! The TLC sessions have a tradition of being highly interactive and the submitters have worked hard during the summer to adapt their sessions to the virtual format.
The synchronous program on the 9th of August includes for instance:
Jeffrey Pfeffer: Creating a Successful Course: Lessons from 40 Years of Teaching Power
Denise Rousseau: Evidence-Based Management: Teaching Managers to Make Better Decisions
David Stolin & Sammy Obeid: Bringing Humor to Management Education: Lessons from Collaborating with a Stand-up Comedian
Case writing, Live cases, Community-based Student Projects, Building Resilience & Creativity through Improv, Adapting an Off-the-shelf Simulation, Using Blooms Taxonomy, and more.
This year, the Teaching and Learning Conference at the Academy of Management Conference is included in the registration fee. If you have not attended this type of sessions before; now is your chance. If you cannot make it on the 9th, there are also asynchronous sessions available to provide you with new input for your entrepreneurship courses.
