    Assistant Professor, Management

    The Department of Management at St. Ambrose University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to start in August 2019. Qualified applicants will possess a Ph.D. (or DBA) in Business Administration or related discipline; ABD candidates who anticipate completing degree requirements by August 15, 2019 will be considered. Individual must have the ability to teach a broad range of management courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level in a variety of delivery formats, an exceptional commitment to student learning, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    The ideal candidate would have interest and expertise in teaching strategic management as well as entrepreneurship or operations/supply chain management and would be able to incorporate aspects of sustainability into those courses. Position responsibilities include teaching, advising and mentoring students; serving on department and university committees; and engaging in scholarship.
