    Dear Colleagues,

With the gracious support of the STR, MOC and OMT divisions, we offer a collaborative and hands-on learning experience for scholars doing research on aspirations and performance feedback at this year's Academy of Management Annual Meeting. The PDW on Advancing Aspirations Research: Exploring New Avenues in Performance Feedback Theory will be held on Saturday, July 31 2021 from 3.00-4.30pm EST in a synchronous live open format.

Following successful PDWs in 2016, 2017 and 2019, this year's edition will draw attention to the most promising new avenues of inquiry within Performance Feedback Theory that have opened up in recent times. Performance Feedback Theory scholars recognize the need for exploring new avenues, such as the influence of corporate governance, stakeholders, and cognitive aspects on the link between performance feedback and subsequent strategic actions or aspiration adaptation. Scholars seeking to advance their work on aspirations and performance feedback will be able to develop a thorough understanding of these promising avenues for research as well as to receive personalized feedback on their work by leading authors and scholars.

This PDW is split into a plenary panel discussion and break-out room roundtable discussions. The program listing can be found at https://2021.aom.org/meetings/virtual/ySTFQ8PoP2khjCgfE. • Ohad Ref (Ono Academic College)

    Registration at https://forms.gle/A6dZuiF9AE3vD1JK6

You can attend this PDW without pre-registration. Preregistration is however required for joining a roundtable break-out room in which you will receive feedback from other participants and one of the above panelists. Furthermore, the registration form also enables you to send us any question related to New Avenues in Performance Feedback Theory for the panel discussion.

The deadline to register and submit a research outline (max. 2 pages describing a novel research proposal) that relates to the topic of this PDW (to be discussed in subgroups during the PDW) is July 25, 2021 (extended deadline). We will ask you to prepare comments on the outlines submitted by the other participants and share them during the break-out room discussions.

We look forward to meeting you in virtual space!

    Best regards,
