This is an exciting opportunity for a 3-year post-doctoral research position, as part of an inter-disciplinary team exploring how entrepreneurial parents influence the entrepreneurial career choices of their children. This ESRC-funded project draws on a UK birth cohort study to uncover the mechanisms that enable the transmission of entrepreneurial preferences and behaviours from parents to children.
The postholder will work closely with colleagues from The School of Management and the Institute for Policy Research (IPR) at the University of Bath. The School of Management is one of the leading research-intensive Management Schools in Europe. It is located in the historic and beautiful city of Bath, famed for its ancient Roman Baths and the stunning Georgian architecture which provided the setting for Jane Austen's novels.
The post is available for an immediate start. For an informal discussion about this role please contact Professor Orietta Marsili (om298@bath.ac.uk). However, please submit your application via the University website.
