    The Strategy and Management Group at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College seeks to fill two to four tenure-track positions. The appointment(s), beginning in July 2020, can be at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or be near completion of a doctoral degree. We strongly encourage that applications be submitted by October 1, 2019.

    We seek candidates who will produce research of excellent quality that will have high impact on the management field. We will consider candidates across the management spectrum. Candidates should be able to teach MBA students at a level of quality consistent with Tuck's high standards.

    The Tuck School of Business, founded in 1900, is consistently ranked among the top U.S. business schools. The Strategy and Management group includes Ron Adner, Pino Audia, Ella Bell, Jennifer Dannals, Richard D'Aveni, Dan Feiler, Sydney Finkelstein, Giovanni Gavetti, Vijay Govindarajan, Constance Helfat, Steve Kahl, Adam Kleinbaum, Ramon Lecuona Torras, and Alva Taylor.

    The Tuck School fosters an environment that is intellectually stimulating and interdisciplinary. We look for excellence in both research and teaching and provide ample financial and logistical support in a highly collegial culture as a means to achieve these ends. Staff support is excellent and funding provided for research assistance and travel is generous.  

    Chartered in 1761, the town of Hanover is a charming New England town that boasts sophisticated educational and cultural resources. Residents enjoy a first-rate public school system and an award-winning teaching hospital, among other amenities. Recreational opportunities are abundant all year round, from paddling on the Connecticut River, to golf or skiing at college facilities that are open to the public, to hiking the Appalachian Trail, which runs through town.

    Hanover is located in the scenic Upper Valley of the Connecticut River, two hours from Boston, three hours from Montreal, and a short flight from New York City.
