Join us for our 17th Annual-1st Virtual-Social Entrepreneurship Conference!

    WHY JOIN US?

The Annual Social Entrepreneurship Conference brings together scholars, researchers, students and practitioners from around the world to discuss emerging concepts and explore topics in social entrepreneurship, social enterprise, social innovation, sustainability and impact. The conference, the largest academic gathering of its kind in terms of research paper submissions, is dedicated to the ongoing development of theory and research on social entrepreneurship and its impact on global communities.

For more information, here is also the link to the 2019 program of our 16th Annual Social Entrepreneurship Conference at IU Kelley School of Business.

    WHAT TO EXPECT?

The format of the online conference will be adapted from the traditional structure of The Annual Social Entrepreneurship Conference. That means that we will present and discuss dozens of accepted papers in parallel sessions. All presenters of a paper will be a discussant of another paper in the same session. Participants will have access to all uploaded material prior to the conference. Keynote panels will open and close the conference.

An innovation this year, we will welcome proposals for panel sessions during the conference.

A panel session consists of a conversation between 3-5 panelists with different perspectives to exchange views on a relevant and current topic, often with one of the panelists serving as facilitator of the discussion and session chair. Audience members can be involved in the discussion as well. A panel session should not be a collection of individual paper presentations.

ABSTRACT / PANEL / PAPER SUBMISSION AND REVIEW PROCESS:

Authors who wish to present their papers or lead a panel at the conference should submit electronically a three-page abstract (double-spaced, times new roman font, size 12) by August 15th, 2020 to this address: TheannualSEconf@gmail.com

Abstracts will be selected and authors will be notified and invited by September 15th, 2020. A full paper will be due on October 20th, 2020.

We hope to see many of you join us again in November for our 17th Annual!
