    WHU invites applications for the position of Professor of Diversity (Open rank) (f/m/d) located at WHU Campus Vallendar or WHU Campus Düsseldorf, starting January 1, 2020 or later.

     

    Academic Environment

    WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is a leading private business school in Germany and is continuously ranked among the top business schools in Europe. On WHU's two campuses in Vallendar (near Koblenz) and Düsseldorf, faculty, students, and staff enjoy working in a stimulating international environment.     WHU has more than 50 faculty members in the fields of management, finance and accounting, economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing and sales, and supply chain management.     Job Description

    • Publishing high quality research in leading journals, especially on diversity topics (including but not restricted to areas of management, economics, or entrepreneurship)
    • Teaching in WHU programs (in English)
    • Involvement in business school activities and service contributions 

    Job Qualifications

    • Candidates must have a relevant Ph.D. degree or equivalent academic qualification
    • We are searching for candidates who are passionate about diversity topics
    • We expect excellence in research through an outstanding publication record in international peer-reviewed academic journals and a strong research pipeline
    • We further value a proven track record of outstanding teaching at all levels.
    • Outstanding English communication skills.

     

    What we offer

    This (tenured / tenure-track) position will be at the rank of assistant or full professor, depending upon qualifications. Salary is commensurate with rank, experience, and qualifications.
