    Greetings,
In response to Dawn DeTienne's posting regarding inclusion in ENT research, I'm sharing The Economist's recent article on a study regarding professional inclusion in the American Economics Association (AEA). It's a sobering article reflecting on research regarding inclusion in the economics field. The article is transparent, balanced, and suggestive regarding the lack of inclusion in the economics field.

I suggest that the ENT Division consider a similar study of our field. The AEA study researched metrics and opinions from Ph.D students all the way to full professor. Perhaps our leadership on this topic may become a model and a replicable template for the rest of the AOM community.

    Best,

    Alejandro,
Thanks so very much for sharing this article.    I believe conducting research in entrepreneurship that measures many of these same items (and others that are relevant to our work) would be timely and important.  If you do not have time to read this now, please bookmark this article!
