The Department of Organization, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship (OSE) of the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics invites applicants for two tenure track positions of Assistant Professor. We are especially interested in candidates in the fields of International Business, Strategic Management or of (Tech or Social) Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management.
The tenure-track Assistant Professors perform research and teaching/tutoring activities in the fields of International Business, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Business Analytics and/or Organizational Behavior. The Maastricht University School of Business and Economics invests strongly in new Bachelor programs like Business Engineering and Business Analytics. It has a renowned International Business program.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a PhD (or defense upcoming) in one of the main fields;
- Have a clear research portfolio and (forthcoming) publications in reputable scholarly journals;
- Seek to successfully apply for research grants;
- Proven ability in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level;
- Obtain the University Teaching Qualification within our School;
- Be ambitious team players with good ability to work individually as well as in a team.
Experience in working with firms will be valued. Mastery of the English language is required. All candidates should clearly state the (THE, QS, of FT business school) ranking of the university of their highest degree.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
We offer a tenure track position, with the possibility of a permanent contract. You will work in a challenging and professional environment. Upon meeting the tenure track criteria (available upon request), a permanent contract will be offered. Salary will be in accordance with Dutch academic salary scales, include a pension scheme, and range between €3,637 to €5,656 gross per month, dependent on experience and a record of accomplishment of the candidate. A temporary reduction in income tax (equal to 30% of taxable salary) may apply to those who have current residence outside of the Netherlands. The Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities (CAO) is applicable.
