    FACULTY POSITION IN MANAGEMENT

    Terry College of Business University of Georgia

     

    The Department of Management in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for a full-time tenure-track or tenured position in Strategic Management at the Assistant, senior Assistant or junior Associate level, with an anticipated employment start date of August 1, 2019.

     

    To be considered, applicants may be in the process of completing their PhD, or currently hold the rank of assistant professor, or be an associate professor with 1 to 3 years' experience post-promotion.  The selected candidate must have completed a Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field prior to appointment. A research record commensurate with rank, demonstrated excellence in teaching strategic management at the graduate and/or undergraduate level, and the desire to work in a collegial, interdisciplinary department also are required.     To be eligible for tenure on appointment at the associate professor rank, candidates must have been tenured at a prior institution and bring a demonstrably national reputation to the institution. Candidates must be approved for tenure upon appointment before hire.
