The Department of Management at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin is hiring tenure-track faculty members to join our department in the fall of 2020. We have two positions available at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level and we welcome applications from PhD students and current faculty members in the areas of organizational behavior, organization theory, strategic management, or innovation/entrepreneurship. We are an inclusive department that invites a wide range of research topics and interests within the aforementioned areas.
Current members of the Department of Management are Professors Ethan Burris, John Butler, Janet Dukerich, David Harrison, and Luis Martins (Department Chair); Associate Professors Caroline Bartel, Sekou Bermiss, Andrew Henderson, Francisco Polidoro, and PK Toh; and Assistant Professors Shiva Agarwal, Andrew Brodsky, Steven Gray, Paul Green, Douglas Hannah, Insiya Hussain, Shefali Patil, and Ram Ranganathan.
The Department of Management is housed within the McCombs School of Business, a top ranked school in the UT-Dallas Business School Research Rankings. The department provides excellent research support through its strong PhD program, other graduate and undergraduate assistants, and extensive research funding. The department is home to three thriving centers: The Center for Leadership and Ethics, the Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs. In addition, the department runs the school's one-year Master of Science in Technology Commercialization (MSTC) Program.
