TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR POSITION IN STRATEGY/INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS/ENTREPRENEURSHIP WITH RESEARCH EXPERIENCE ON AFRICA
The Nanyang Business School (NBS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the area of Strategy/International Business/Entrepreneurship with the Division of Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIE). The position also requires a familiarity with Africa.
QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should possess strong knowledge and research experience in the African economy and business, a Ph.D. degree from a recognized university (for assistant/associate professor candidates), and a track record in leading journal publications. Applicants with at least three years of research experience in the African economy and business will be preferred. Due to the Center Director responsibilities, new Ph.D. graduates are not considered and the applicant should be at least a few years post-Ph.D. In addition, applicants have to show evidence of teaching excellence at undergraduate and/or graduate-level.
DIVISION OF STRATEGY, INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (SIE)
The Division of Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship (SIE) comprises faculty with expertise in diverse topics, including corporate and business strategy, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, innovation, international business, sustainability, organizational paradoxes, and social networks. We are dedicated to providing students with an excellent education in various programs and equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive in today's highly dynamic and competitive global business environment. We are responsible for delivering the core strategic management course in undergraduate and graduate programs, enriching students' global business perspectives, and supporting entrepreneurship initiatives and education in Nanyang Business School (NBS) and in the University.
The multi-disciplinary perspective of our faculty has led to publications in leading journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, Management Science, Organisation Science, and Journal of Applied Psychology. We emphasize relevance in our research through engagements with industry stakeholders. Our faculty provide thought leadership in assisting the firm growth and entrepreneurial activities in Southeast Asia.
The Division is closely integrated with the NBS Centre for Emerging Market Studies (CEMS) that aims to be a global knowledge hub on emerging markets. The Centre conducts research on pressing and timely business issues in emerging markets through a global research platform that involves scholars and institutions with leading expertise and access to emerging markets. Our faculty leads and joins the global research team to pursue impactful research that would have direct and valuable implications for sustained profitable growth in emerging markets.
