    I'd like to bring to your attention an important position opportunity: Grossman Chair in Sustainable Business @ the Grossman School of Business, University of Vermont.

    The ideal candidate is a recognized scholar who conducts research on sustainable business issues such as the environment, ethics, entrepreneurship, poverty and inequality. Candidates should be able to teach sustainable business and help cover strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The chair is open in rank, with a preference for a mid-career Associate.

    THE UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT, Grossman School of Business (www.uvm.edu/business) invites applications from outstanding scholars for the Steven Grossman Endowed Chair of Sustainable Business. The successful candidate will have a strong record of academic publications in the area of sustainable business practices and be committed to this domain through innovative course and program development, and outreach to the academic and business communities.

    Sustainable business is a strategic theme in the undergraduate program and fully integrated in the school's Sustainable Innovation MBA program which has been ranked the #1 "Best Green MBA" by Princeton Review for the last three years, and the #1 Better World MBA in the U.S. (#4 worldwide) in the Corporate Knights Better World MBA rankings.

    The ideal candidate is a recognized scholar who conducts research on sustainable business issues such as the environment, ethics, entrepreneurship, poverty and inequality. Candidates should be able to teach

    About the School

    The Grossman School of Business cultivates and supports over 30 tenured or tenure-track faculty dedicated to education, research and management practice and is home to over 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Multiple faculty members produce high quality research on sustainable business topics including Dean Sanjay Sharma who is a pioneer in sustainable strategy scholarship. The School also has established relationships with several globally competitive sustainable businesses in Vermont and elsewhere that provide faculty an opportunity to conduct research and create engaging experiences in the classroom. The new chair will foster existing relationships and expand our outreach to other sustainable businesses. The chair will also work with faculty from the Gund Institute for Environment which is UVM's highly regarded environmental research accelerator that brings together scholars and leaders to uncover solutions and tackle the world's most pressing environmental issues.
