    The University of North Texas is recruiting PhD students into our program for Fall 2021. If you know of promising candidates who are interested in earning a PhD in management, please ask them to apply to our program. We are located in Denton, a charming college town near the DFW airport in the vibrant and rapidly expanding Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

    Our PhD program is research-focused, with emphases on entrepreneurship, human resource management, organizational behavior, organization theory, and strategic management. Our doctoral students are closely mentored by outstanding faculty including Anat BarNir, Jeff Chandler, Danielle Cooper, Derrick D'Souza, Mark Davis, Nolan Gaffney, Julie Hancock, Bob Heere, Ginny Kidwell, Chris Penney, Rhonda Reger, Manjula Salimath, Jeremy Short, Hoda Vaziri Bozorg and Matthew Walker.  Our faculty publishes leading edge research in top management journals such as AMR, AMJ, OS, SMJ, JAP, JBV and other ABDC A*/A and Financial Times 50 journals.

    The University of North Texas is a Carnegie R1 national research institution. University enrollment is over 40,000 students with more than 8,000 graduate students. The university offers 230 undergraduate and graduate majors and concentrations. The G. Brint Ryan College of Business is accredited by AACSB International.
